We are in a time of uncertainty, distrust, and overall uneasiness as the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic continues. We value your health and safety and are continuing to encourage keeping yourself and your loved ones safe, healthy, and protected. Calming Waters Counseling Services is taking the necessary precautions during this time of constant change to promote the health and safety of our staff, our clients, and the community as a whole. We are open and accepting new clients at this time via telehealth for child, adolescent, family, couples, and/or individual therapy. You will need at minimum a smart phone, a strong internet connection, and a private and safe space.

Although it is a little different then how you would typically picture a therapy session, there is research to support telehealth. Many of the same techniques can be used virtually, as in the office.
